Terms of Use

Last updated August 4, 2026

The short version

Interludes lets you leave one comment per song and react to other people's. Be a person about it. Post something abusive, hateful, sexual or spammy and it gets removed and you may lose your account. There is no warning system you can game.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live if that is higher. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

You need an account to post, react, follow or reply. Browsing works without one.

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

This is not a guideline, it is the deal. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, spam, or that impersonates someone else or infringes anyone's rights.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Content that breaks these terms is removed, and accounts that post it can be suspended or terminated without notice.

Comments and replies are screened automatically before they are published, and every comment, reply and account can be reported from inside the app. You can also block any account, which hides everything they post from you.

How we handle reports

We review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours of it being reported — by removing the content, and by suspending or terminating the account behind it where that is warranted.

If you report something, we may not be able to tell you the outcome, but it is read by a person.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it inside Interludes so the app can do its job — showing your comment on a song, in other people's feeds, and on a shareable link.

That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we are required to keep by law or that others have already shared elsewhere.

You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time from Settings → Advanced Settings, which permanently removes your profile, comments, replies, likes, follows and gold vinyls.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other people or the service at risk.

Music, artwork and previews

Song details and artwork come from public music catalogues, and thirty-second previews are streamed from Apple. Interludes does not host, store or sell music. Previews are for listening inside the app only — they cannot be downloaded, recorded or exported, and nothing in the app is a substitute for a music subscription.

All music, artwork and artist names remain the property of their respective owners.

What we do not promise

Interludes is provided "as is". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that anything you post will stay available forever. To the fullest extent the law allows, Longus Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Apple

This agreement is between you and Longus Labs LLC only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for Interludes or its content.

Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Interludes. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.

Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to Interludes, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual property claims.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and Apple has the right to enforce them against you.

Changes

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Interludes after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be overridden.
